Our Berlin Ohio bed and breakfast is located 2 miles from Berlin and 5 miles from Millersburg, Ohio, offering top-notch Amish Country lodging in Holmes County . We have 5 garden-themed rooms

Each guest room has a private entrance, private bath, a comfortable queen bed with quality linens, TV and VCR, air conditioning and an in-room coffeemaker. Our deluxe rooms have fireplace and one also has a Jacuzzi. Our amenities will give you the feel of staying in a 5-Star, luxury accommodation! We also offer Wireless Internet Access in your guest rooms.

One of the things that guests love so much about Garden Gate Get-A-Way is our evening campfire. When all of the shops and restaurants close you can retreat back to our bed & breakfast and unwind around the warmth of campfire. We always have marshmallows on hand to roast and this is a great time to share your daily adventures with other guests.

Along the brick path that leads you to your guest room we have planted 3 seasons of perennials that welcome you with bursts of color! If you want a quiet moment, you can escape to the glider under the arbor in our side garden. Hear the gentle sounds of water trickling down the fountain and take in the beauty of the flowers. Our grape arbor is a great place to find some shade and relax with a good book or a glass of wine. Our home sits on a rolling hill surrounded by Amish farms. You are bound to hear the gentle clopping from horses as you see many buggies pass by our B & B. You might even get to feed a Belgian Work Horse!

Each morning you will awaken to the aroma of freshly baked goods. We serve a deluxe continental breakfast that includes homemade coffeecakes, breads, and/or muffins, along with Amish granola, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, tea and juices.

Whether you want to see the major attractions or hit the back roads and find Amish-made treasures, we will map out an itinerary that is sure to meet your expectations. We can also arrange for Amish Back Roads Tours that may include dinner in an Amish home, a couples massage or spa services , a golf package, a horse & carriage ride, or even a hot air balloon ride over Holmes County . Lodging Gone Green

Since former Vice President, Al Gore, brought an awareness to the United States about global warming and why we should all go green, many businesses are jumping on the band wagon. Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast is concerned about the environment and our guests. We are carefully making the transition to a “green” B&B to ensure our guests have a pleasant experience with us. Some first steps are:

We’ve changed light bulbs in the guest rooms to energy efficient ones.
We provide glass coffee mugs in your guest room that can be washed vs. paper ones that are thrown in the garbage.
Our breakfast dishes are pottery and non-disposable.
When you stay for a couple of days we don’t change the sheets unless they are soiled or requested to do so.
We have started the practice to only replace towels as requested.
We have low flow toilets to conserve water
We have aerators attached to our sink faucets for water conservation & energy efficiency
Our deluxe rooms have energy efficient TVs and as we replace old ones we are upgrading to energy efficient.
We are using “green” cleaning products.

We are currently researching a way to recycle paper, plastic and glass since are area does not have a recycling program.
